“If there's one thing I've learned, it's this: We all want
everything to be okay. We don't even wish so much for fantastic or
marvelous or outstanding. We will happily settle for okay, because most
of the time, okay is enough.”
I am okay with the
ending, the story. Why everybody else do not? Maybe they do not settle
for less, they want more, everybody does. I guess I am not everybody.
It's better that It is okay than It is not okay. I guess, A settled for "okay". I am happy with his "okay".
There is a saying that if you love someone, you let them go.A
as in A left a scar to Rhiannon but they both experienced love as love I think it is fair enough, but there is no fairness in love, to love is to give. A give Rhiannon the freedom, you can say from Justin, no, A give Rhiannon freedom to love and to let go, to move on. As what A
always do, everyday he let go but when he met Rhiannon he experienced
the feeling of not letting go, to connect, to experience something
different, experience that he did not have experienced before... that is
to love. And for A letting go is part of his love.
Thank
you Mr. D. Levithan in one book, literal one book you give me a lot of
life perspectives. Life perspectives worth pondering. What makes life
precious? It is precious because of the differences. Each life is
unique. That is why it makes more powerful than ever.
And a love
story as complicated as this? This makes my mind go running wild,
because it's complicated. It made me feel more. Absolutely.
I will miss A. I will miss R.
I will miss the excitement of the unknown. I will miss A's everyday
life. Which constantly reminds me that my life is as precious as it is. I
do not wish to be in other people's life, mine is enough.
Love,
K
